Qian Hai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Enterpreneur Hub (QHSHKYIEH) is located in QSEZ. Occupying an area of around 40,000 square meters, built like a small university campus, the functional buildings include three Incubator Blocks, an Exhibition & Entrepreneurial Service Centre, and a magnificent and multi-purpose venue of about 3,000 square metres.
Well-equipped in a modern design, it will contain customized and professional services and flexible open spaces for everything from exhibitions to conferences. As well as an Innovation Centre, the Entrepreneur Academy – which has a mission to complement the capabilities of start-up teams and young entrepreneurs by providing multifaceted and systematic training and educational programs and capacity to house around 200 start-ups.
QHSHKYIEH is expected to emulate Silicon Valley as an international entrepreneurial youth community. QHSHKYIEH has an initial fund of 120 million yuan which is guided by the Steering Committee of the former Shanghai Authority, the Shenzhen Youth Federation, and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Associations.
QHSHKYIEH has become a hub for young entrepreneurs from the Shenzhen and Hong Kong youth with creative, dynamic small companies. QHSHKYIEH companies are exempt from the first year of rent, the second year they pay 50% of the rent. In the 3rd year, if the incubation has been a success then they may move to full rent.
In addition, QHSHKYIEH enjoys the geographical advantages and the existing preferential policies, such as:
- 15% Corporation tax rate
- Access to foreign financial institutions
- Preferential rate of 4%-5% of foreign financing loans with special funds to support subsidies to meet the conditions
- Priority access to special enterprise funds of 50 million yuan
